Today while driving to work I saw an idiot walking her dog. This idiot had a plastic bag in her hand so that when the dog took a dump she could bend over and pick the steaming pile up with the bag and reverse it so that she now had the dogs "dookie" in the bag!! WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TOO!!! When you do this you are in servitude to the dog and not the other way around!! If you don't have the room to let the dog do its business in your own yard then get rid of the dog!! Think about it!! You are stooping down to pick up your dogs POOP with a bag around your hand!! I wouldn't even do that for my own children!! Out comes the shovel and throw it over into the neighbors yard!! J/K! (Julz, that means Just Kidding!) People we need to get some common sense here! Get a cat, or a hamster or something! You look like Cheech and Chong following your dog around trying to catch it before it hits the ground!! Pleeeeeease people for the love of Pete, get a pet that fits your situation!! And quit picking up poop!! It's just gross!!

Picking up doggy poo with a bag just might be less gross than changing a child's poo diaper. lol

And I have never hid the fact that I didn't change more that 20 diapers while my children were in diapers. My LOVING WIFE did it all for me!! Ain't she cool!! Hey, it's better than putting them in a closet so I don't have to hear them... right pookie?!
Wow, I never thought to use a bag . Thats actually a pretty good idea. Trust me, trying to teach a 75 lb. lab to use the toilet and not drown can be pretty tricky. But the ole boys been a good dog and hasn't run off with some foreigner on me (not that I'm bitter) so I think I'll keep him even if I had to carry his poo home in my pocket...
It always comes down to poo in the end, doesn't it.

If you have a dog, unless you own acreage, you need to walk it for exercise. There is little possibility of training said dog to hold it when a no. 2 need is upon it, so you have to pick up. Be glad she did! Taking the dog for a walk without the preparation, and leaving said pile where the dog deposits it is FAR worse ;-)
BTW - My Mother in law brings her dogs (she is a breeder) to our house often (we have no dogs). She does the same to clean up after them, in our yard. Fact of life.
Oh - and thanks a heap for visiting my space. I am tickled to find another right-thinking blogger in the lefty state ... *GRIN*
What Barb said is true.
I have neighbors who let their dogs poop and never pick it up, you can imagine that I and my husband, heck, even my dog, have stepped in doo-doo. That's way more gross that picking up his poop.
Frankly we are subserviant to the dog. He rules the house. We are his willing slaves, because he gives us such joy and love. I don't mind a little poop patrol.
